Ron has lived in the Southwest all of his life, always intrigued by the culture and art of the Native Americans who inhabited the region. While hiking, he explored the petroglyphs and pottery shards left behind by these ancient people and became enthralled with southwest designs.
In July, 2001 working with segmented wood turning, Ron began turning his own bowls, incorporating the shapes and symbols of the Southwest into his vessels. This soon became his passion; one that consumes all of his time now.
His art is now displayed in prominent fine art galleries in the Southwest as well as numerous private collections across the U.S.
